So disappointing to see bootlicking women writing paragraphs defending men and often shitting on women, in response to posts related to radical feminism.  “I love men!” “Women/society are horrible to men!” “We don’t deserve men!” Girl, you think a man would stand up in a room full of misogynistic men and wax poetic about how they’re horrible to women, and women are actually incredible? Even in an online space, you’d be hard pressed to find a single man writing a fucking novel standing up for women in response to a thread of misogynistic comments.  Even the nicest ones in your life won’t stand up for women, because when other men are openly misogynistic, the nice ones are twiddling their thumbs while thinking of how nice they are, but they suddenly find their voice when women complain about misogyny.  Wake up.

All TERF's and Gender Criticals are literally ideologically aligned with white supremacist fascist trolls. Caelan Conrad is amazing and does such good work. Please watch this.

thankfully I'm not married because she is basically saying in my face, if something happens to me then it must be my fault and yet everyone is like: why aren't you close? she's your mother.

A lot of people sure love to pretend it’s feminist to tell women how to dress or present aesthetically

I wore a dress recently (rare occurrence for me) and one of my friends was like, “Honey you look great but would you like some tips on shaving your legs?” And I explained to her that I don’t really like shaving my legs so I just don’t do it. And she asked if that’s why I usually wear pants and I said no I wear whatever is comfortable to me, shaved legs or not. And it was like I literally blew her mind.
This is what I mean when I say you should have empathy for women with internalized misogyny. I don’t mean having empathy for women who are abusive to you for being a woman. I mean empathy for women who genuinely don’t know that what they’re saying is sexist. I don’t think my friend even knew it was sexist of her to say that at all, she probably just thought it was a little rude (sometimes, when you’re close with someone, it’s okay to be a little rude because you know you love each other). These ideas were not things she had previously been exposed to at all. Instead of telling her to kill herself for having internalized misogyny, WHICH ALL WOMEN HAVE, I introduced her to feminist ideas. And you know what? I’ve noticed she stopped shaving her arm pits recently. And she hasn’t said anything about my legs again. 🤷‍♀️

the fandom @ a male character written to be an unlikeable villain: he's so babygirl, my pookie, he did nothing wrong, why can't i romance him
also the fandom @ a female/nb character written to be complex and assertive but overall sympathetic: she's a bitch and i hate her, she's so whiny and mean, wish i could kill her

honestly i wish the only way for magical girls to get respect wasn't for them to be as close to shonen as possible.
"unlike other magical girls, precure has hand to hand combat! its dbz for girls!"
"i know princess tutu's name is stupid but its actually not girly at all!"
"sailor moon isn't ACTUALLY for little girls because [insert scene of characters suffering or creepy stuff from the manga here]"
"madoka is better than other magical girls because its DARK"
like do magical girls really needs to be dbz but girly to be worthy of respect? can't they just be... magical girl shows? a show can be unapologetically girly and aimed at girls and still be worth checking out. yes, princess tutu is girly. yes, sailor moon is girly. yes, precure is girly. yes, madoka, despite being a seinen and darker, ultimately upholds the messages of the genre. and they're all awesome and deserve respect on their own merits, not as a comparison to popular shonen shows.

I like watching Drew Afualo's tiktoks and listening to her podcast for laughs, but sometimes her libfem bullshit is just too much. Multiple times she's shat on women who criticise those long-ass acrylic nails she loves wearing, and her reasoning is that they're jealous because they could never handle wearing them, and most women could “ get used to” wearing them if they “practise”. No thanks, I shouldn’t have to re-learn how to wipe my ass and type on a keyboard for a dumb beauty trend. In one of her latest podcast episodes she talked about how she was a pick-me when she was a teenager because...uh....she liked playing sports and didn't like wearing makeup or long acrylic nails. That's it. She didn't mention shit-talking other women or defending misogynists or anything like that, in fact, she said she actively stood up against males and fought back against misogyny even when she was in her "pick me" phase, but apparently not wanting to slather makeup on her face made her a pick me. She also uses the word b*tch in every other sentence and bragged about how it doesn't offend her, like congrats

Ok so, I already have a Yuusona. But recently I decided to acknowledge and indulge the cringe in me. If Yuu is the Twst version of current me (more or less), then what's following is the Twst version of my teenage self.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Koyumi Edelstein
15 years old, 1st year
She/her
Half japanese half german
Probably has some flavor of autism
"Babygirl, Girlfailure, Crybaby"
Tumblr media
A naive crybaby
Koyumi tears up very easily, for whatever reason. Happy, sad, angry, whenever she gets too emotional tears will well up in her eyes without her control, making her a notorious crybaby. Usually her tears are accompanied by huge blushes so it is impossible for her to hide any outburst.
Other than that she is a happy-go-lucky girl. A bit on the introvert side, trying hard not to bother anybody but willing to help anybody who asks, she tends to be led by the nose by pretty much everybody. She's not very good at detecting sarcasm, and she's even worse at catching even the most obvious hints of ill-intent from others.
Silence is gold
Koyumi suffers from hyperaccusis. Any sound is physically painful so she usually has noise cancelling and protective stuff lying around.
It might be due to that, but she has developed a habit to speak really softly to the point others struggle to hear her. She doesn't speak much anyway so it's not much of a problem, she largely prefers listening to others and letting them do the talking in her stead.
Tumblr media
A cringe fangirl
Sebek? Going too far with his love for Malleus? Koyumi isn't faring any better, and she doesn't have only one object of attention. She treats everything and everyone she loves to the same degree of obsession, though unlike Sebek she rarely yells about her obsessions to others.
Her obsessions include, but do not limit themselves to: boys love, jewelry, handcrafts, Sebek, anything shiny, Grim, Sebek, boys bands, Sebek, Sebek, Sebek-
Tumblr media
Random facts:
-She likes bugs, but she's deadly terrified of flying bugs (including fireflies, dragonflies, butterflies, and ladybugs).
-She actually has very good grades and an impressive memory.
-She spent the whole Dorm Sorting Ceremony bawling her eyes out because she was startled and everybody around was either fighting or angry at her.
-She has two big brothers.
-She has surprisingly good stamina.
-She crafts jewels as a hobby but she doesn't wear any because of sensory issues. She doesn't even have holes in her ears.
-She loves Grim very much (despite the fact that he's quite loud) and uses him as a plushie.
-She saw Sebek once and thought "That's the one." It's only worsened since then.
-Despite being useless around Sebek, she still somehow ships him with any cool looking guy that happens to stand next to him (including Silver, Jamil, and other first years).
-Her jealousy level is 0.

Hear me out: you can ship JayVik without falling into or using rhetoric that fits the disposable black girlfriend trope. You can ship JayVik without using Mel as some conceived ploy or antagonistic plot device that makes her out of character. You can ship JayVik without falling into misogynistic rhetoric (eg. viewing female characters as disposable or stepping tools, amongst other things). You can ship JayVik without erasing the impact Mel has had on Jayce and their relationship because, whether you shipped it or not or even gave it the time of day, Mel and Jayce did care for each other, and to deny that or say Viktor held more importance/impact than her in Jayce's life to where she's viewed as "unnecessary" just to further your ship is so wrong and, whether you intended for it or not, does carry undertones where black characters, especially black female characters, emotional impact on others is ignored or downplayed even though there's context to support just how important it is/they are. Lastly, you can ship JayVik without using anti-black and misogynoir type rhetoric because the amount that has flooded this fandom, but especially from some fans of this ship, is atrocious. Ship what you like, but be respectful and careful with certain things you say, is all I'm saying.

y’all we r not beating exorsexism and misogyny by calling every transmasc that pisses u off a ‘theyfab.’ Idc if they are annoying or have dumbass opinions, literally using someone’s agab as an insult is wrong and treating transmascs as annoying little afabs is deeply misogynistic and transphobic. What happened to just calling people fucking idiots
